Have been seeing Dr. Darlington for years for a dry eye disease. I like the new place better than the old establishment he was with. This one is just as efficient, but seems a little friendlier and less stringent. Especially the front desk staff.

I was called back within five or 10 minutes of arriving. After getting the drops in my eyes, I was put in the dark room for no longer than 10 minutes when I was taken back to see the doctor. The doctor explained the procedure and asked if I had any questions.

The office staff was great! Caring, compassionate and got me in to be seen within 2 hours of my call. My eye was swollen (inside as well as the surrounding area) and it came on rather suddenly. Dr. Darlington came in, examined my eye through equipment and was able to quickly identify the cause, then told me to increase the steroid eyedrops to every 2 hours. I saw improvement within 12 hours! I'm grateful to Dr. Darlington and his team for all they did!

Everything about the cataract surgery on both eyes was excellent. Procedure was probably actually about ten minutes per eye. Dr Darlington was a professional, and everything went smoothly. Right after surgery my eyes were 20-20 and the difference in color that I saw was hard to believe. I thought my TV set was going bad, and it was just the cataracts, the color was beautiful right after surgery.

First time I met Dr Straut. Definitely liked him. Very personable and very professional. I highly recommend him. I don’t normally make comments on doctor’s services, but in this case I felt really good about giving him 5 stars. If you need an OD, go see Dr Straut.

Appointment was on time without a long wait in neither the waiting room nor the office. Check out was quick as well. It’s just difficult to drive with dialated eyes when the sun is extremely & fortunate for me, my drive home was just a mile or two away!

Not to offed Dr. Vaishnav, but I Fell Backwards in his bathroom, and there wasn’t any “Grab Bars”. I believe that’s why Dr. Vaishnav didn’t want me anymore. Thank you for having everyone keep “Safety” in mind for people like me. I know I can walk, move my arms. I’m full of “Titanium Metal”. People weren’t “Created By God” to be full of Titanium Metal. I’ve Titanium Metal because I’m allergic to “All Metal Inside My Body” except Titanium Metal. Anyway, thank you for Grab Bars, and a Clean Office. It’s a little “Cold In Waiting Room. Office was slightly busy upon arrival. New patient - first visit. Process to actually see the Dr was somewhat cold . Personnel were very good albiet ‘soldiered’ in their performance. Personable but worked as if patients were “the next one”. As if “Done this a million times …”. No one ever actually asked me why I was there!! Did all necessary steps for cataract surgery and got another appt for surgery approval. A bit undecided about next steps.

Each technician was exact and thorough for the testing that they were conducting. They supplied me with a wheelchair for easier access to move between rooms and had each room clean and set up in advance. All the techs worked smoothly together and communicated quickly. They kept me advised of each step and told me what they were going to do, then did it. Dr. Mandese was a bit delayed to get to me, but was all smiles as he greeted me with eye contact and proceeded to review the test results. He retested something that he noticed was unusual. Dr. Mandese is very professional and highly skilled and took time to answer my questions without rushing off.

Dr. Dowington is one of the best doctors I have ever ever met. I was going with Dr. McManus all those years and I did not know that Dr. Darlington was in the same building. Dr. Stroud has another very good person, but I had a lot of work from Dr McManus and he was he was good. He helped me, but Dr. Darlington is one of the best doctors around this area as far as on the State and everything he can he’s conscientious he tells the way it is The procedure that he does. The guy works 24 hours in the day his crew his nurses everything are all excellent, so please make sure that he might know or get this information or keeping it in his records or so because he’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever ever had. Please help me with my both of my eyes And I would I refer him to a lot of people in case that they might need somebody for an eye doctor, he’s very knowledgeable and glaucoma cataracts regular eyes God bless that man. Awesome to the point

I have an unusual condition in one of my eyes, and Dr. Mandese has been on top of my treatment to stem off glaucoma. He’s professional and very knowledgeable, personable and he listens!! I would highly recommend him to anyone with eye issues.

There were a lot of patients at the office, but the staff seemed to take it all in stride. I was impressed with how well orchestrated everything was. My appointment was at 3pm and I was back in the car at 4:00 on my way home. The staff are awesome kind and friendly with a little humor tossed in. Dr. Darlington was very nice, took the time to answer all my questions. I left very confident of his assessment and my impending surgery.

Dr Micheal Mandese was very politely and respectful but the front desk lady who check us in need some training on how to deal with patient woh is different from her.

I have experienced significant challenges with my eyes and he has been relentless with understanding what’s causing the spasms/eye drooping. I highly recommend Dr Mandese and his amazing team. Sorry I did not realize which Doctor you were. I was not satisfied with my visit and if I could I would like a refund of my $180.00. You were very condescending and the person that did my eye exam was like Gestapo officer . My eye sight is 20/25 and you did nothing but cause me fear. People are scared and you are an alarmist. I have gotten with the right eye Doctor. I am treated as a human with great respect. Diabetes is a common disease and do not mean a death sentence. I am a person of faith and god delivered me out of your hands.

This is my second review request. I have had no change in all that I reported in my first review. I am very disappointed in both eye recovery's. After 7 weeks, my "right eye" is still being treated for high pressure and my sight is still blurred. Unexpected, I had even bigger problems with my "left eye". Fluid has been removed in both eyes. There has been no improvement since I was seen on 5/14/24. The right eye pupil, is still enlarged , the bright light is blinding and I still have the same problem with my left eye as I had on my last visit. As I said, I live alone and before these two surgeries I was very independent, and lived the good life. Now trying to manage my life in this condition is very difficult. I am still not driving, and I have no family here to help me. I have another (1 month), appointment on 6/19. I would like to know the expected outcome. What caused these problems ? When will I be normal again ? Except for the waiting time to be seen and the feeling of being rushed in and out, the staff is very friendly, professional, and kind. Patricia Edwards

Every time I see Dr Straut I learn something that helps me netter cope with my eye conditioons. Having worn glasses since the first weel of the first grade or 75 yers ago, what started as being a clumsy ooaf to being almost blind and requiring corrective lens. Given my appreciation for my eye sight, I listen and make mental notes when Dr Straut talks, and I always come away with a better understanding and appreciation for his effort of providing me with more information about my syes and how to better see the wonders of the world.

Office appointment was 9 am. Did not first get seen by tech until10:30. Saw doc around 11 and was discharged abt 11:30. Over 2 hour appointment mostly sitting in waiting area. Doctor was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable but quick. No sound on cataract video.

There is no doubt in my mind, that too many appointments are scheduled too quickly together. One eye appointment should not require two hours of being present in the eye doctor appointment when there are multiple people scheduled 10 minutes apart. This to me is unacceptable scheduling. The doctor himself is fine. The people who work there were fine, but they’re scheduling is insane.

Dr Darlington was personable and professional. The results of my cataract surgery was perfect and painless.

I was pleased with my experience with Dr Straut and staff. I was taken on time, the male and female nurses were courteous and professional, the eye exam was painless, Dr Straut explained the results of the exam and he removed some irritating bottom eye lashes and the scheduling clerks provided me with convenient times and dates for my next appointment.

The Doctor was excellent. The person who 1st assisted me, her name is Sue was excellent. But, the 2nd person who assisted me her name is Christine or Kristine was not not nice. I requested for them to check my eyes for new prescription glasses. She said with hesistance that she will do it but added they don't normally do it, etc., etc. During the process she was very rude to me. I was tempted to tell her if she was not in the good mood then she can get another person. Instead I asked at the front desk for me to talk to a manager which they did. I told the manager about what happened. I told her to talk to employee because she needs attitude adjustment. Maybe she was tired working all day but still she should show good attitude to their patients. Other than that bad experience

I am so grateful that Dr. Darlington would accept the task of attempting to save my eyesight for me. I am a 91 year old woman caring for a 95 year old veteran who is on 100 percent disability. Believe me when I say I was very careful when I researched an eye doctor. I read Dr. Darlingtons credentials, I spoke to many people who had positive results and spoke to my GP who highly recommended Dr. Darlinton. Dr. Seemed more interested in signing me up for surgery than explaining my test results I had to ask him what my numbers were. on for my glaucoma test .He never took five minutes to go over any testing results. Set on the stool across from me ..never asked my name .. never explained anything .I would to cancel my May 16 appt and I am going to request my records and go for a second opinion .

I feel comfortable that if I had an eye emergency Dr Darlington would be my advocate. Our appointments are very quick and he's extremely busy but my conditions are stable so I'm ok with that. If and when I need more time, I trust he will be there for me.
