Dr. Blandford is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Dr. Blandford specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids, brows, and face, including:
- Upper and lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)
- Cosmetic and reconstructive treatment of under-eye bags
- Brow, forehead, and cheek lifts
- Skin cancer removal and reconstruction
- Tear drainage system surgery
- Orbital surgery
- Non-surgical treatments such as Botox®, dermal fillers, and skin rejuvenation
Dr. Blandford completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Florida, where he served as Chief Resident and was honored as Resident of the Year. He then completed a prestigious two-year American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS)-approved fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. During his fellowship, Dr. Blandford received the Outstanding Clinical Fellow Award and the Knights Templar Research Award from the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Blandford has published over 25 peer-reviewed manuscripts, presented his work at national and international meetings, and serves as a reviewer for multiple medical journals.
